Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burgers
Versatile patty creation that goes great with bread, lettuce, and condiments!

Ingredients
- 15 oz. of black beans drained and rinsed
- 2 medium sweet potatoes steamed and peeled
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of onion powder
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

Mash black beans in a bowl until majority are mashed, leaving some whole.

Add in the sweet potato and mash and mix into the beans.

Stir in the rolled oats and seasonings.

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, take a medium sized ball of the mixture and form into a patty. They cook best when on the thinner side.

Cook for 20 minutes at 425F, flip and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.

Serve on a bun, bread, or lettuce with your favorite toppings and condiments
